Good morning Year Five – Happy Tuesday !

This is our final week together before you return to school in September! Well done, you have made it until the end of the term.

I hope that you have enjoyed learning online 🙂

Reading & Literacy

Today you will continue to work on short story comprehension. If you haven’t had a look at the literacy shed website yet, click on the link below:

THE LITERACY SHED SHORT STORIES

For your task today, you will continue to read and answer a variety of questions for short stories:

SHORT STORY COMPREHENSION PART 2

MATHS: Volume, Capacity, Mass

This is the last week where you will be doing Maths online. For this week’s work, you won’t be accessing the usual white rose website.

Instead, I have uploaded a booklet for you to complete below.

This booklet reviews one last mathematical area that you have not reviewed with white rose: Volume, Capacity and Mass. For today complete pp. 6-10.

Remember that you can also access Sumdog to do extra maths. You can continue to access Mathletics and Sumdog over the summer:

Topic: PSHE – Creating hope for the future

Today you will complete a PSHE lesson linking to the Black Lives Matter movement. The lesson is about creating hope for the future, a future that is not based on the colour of someone’s skin but the content of their character.

Click on the link below to access the lesson:

Remember that Ms Durrant and Mr Postles have posted PE and Music lessons on their blog pages.

Make sure you continue to access these until the end of the week.

Have a good day,

Miss Berglund
