Achievements

STARs Travel Award – Gold 

In July 2018, we achieved the gold STARs award from Transport for London, TfL, which is valid for three years. This award celebrates St John the Divine’s commitment to creating a healthier and safer London.

Pupils from Nursery through to Year Six learn about alternative ways to travel and the benefits of these options. Pupils work with local organisations including, MP Smarter Travel and Sustrans, to learn about air quality and actively encourage their families to make greener choices, particularly when travelling to and from school. Pupils also receive annual training to help them keep safe when crossing roads and riding scooters and bikes. Bikeability training for pupils in Key Stage Two supports our pupils when learning to ride a bike and when learning how to ride on the roads.

Religious Education Quality Mark (REQM) – Silver Award 

The REQM recognises high quality RE, particularly those schools which are providing their learners with authentic experiences and contributing to whole school outcomes.

Natural Thinkers – Accredited setting for Early Years and Key Stage One
